CANVAS WRAP PRINTS
Why order prints through my printer?
I mainly release my images digitally for my clients to post on social media. Where I do give a print release with each gallery, so each client has the choice to take their digital images to the printer of their choice… I do strongly suggest using a professional printer. There are many factors involved with printing an image – such as paper quality and type of ink, but the most noticeable is the coloring. Please know, as the photographer I do not assume any responsibility for any discoloring if your images are not printed with my professional printer. I want you to love your images… on screen, and blown up & framed in your living room.

Understanding Print Ratios
Every print size has a varying print ratio. What does that mean? It means that when you printing a 4×6, the crop will look different from a 5×7.
The standard digital image is set at a 3:2 ratio. A 4×6 is a 2:3 ratio. A 5×6 is a 7:5 ratio. A 8×10 is a 5:4 ratio. A 20×30 is a 3:2 ratio.
So a 4×7 and 20×30 will have the same crop as you see it on your computer screen. However, the popular print sizes 5×6, 8×10, and 11×14 will not. They will crop off the sides from a landscape orientation image OR the top and bottom from a portrait landscape orientation.
Please feel free to ask me any questions regarding print ratio before placing any print order.
