Parenting is hard. The early years can be some of the most stressful. However, they are also some of the most beautiful years packed full of memories and oh so much cuteness… years you’ll NEVER want to forget. I know some parents dread the idea of doing family photography sessions each year – and sometimes say I just want updated captures of my child. However, I really encourage my parents to allow me to make it easy for them – and invite them to use my studio wardrobe, and let me worry about creative ways to capture little ones who are just not wanting to have their picture taken. Yes – it happens…. would you ever guess the majority of this session was spent convincing, and re-convincing one of these children to join in…. and the other, the mom said to me that she hasn’t gotten a smiling picture of since forever.

I met this darling family in 2018 for a newborn session with their son. Seven sessions later – I am so blessed to have been able to watch this family turn into a party of four, and watch these gorgeous children grow.

A little more about my studio… I have a full studio wardrobe, with of over 60 dresses and robes for moms (size 2 – 24) from a variety of places, along with a collection of choices for babies, children, and shirts for men. Hair and makeup is also available by a local make-up artist that comes right to the studio. It’s the most amazing way for moms to treat themselves before a session to make your session as simple and stress free as possible.
