Meet Charlotte at day 8. I adored precious baby Charlotte with her long curled lashes and sweet round face. She slept like a dream, even when her big sis was wildly running and crawling around. Her big sister wasn’t quite sure about her little sister quite yet. She was either super sweet with her, or wanting nothing to do with her at all.

I have so much experience navigating newborn sessions with toddlers. Their whole world has just changed overnight, and it can be a lot for them. Not to mention, they’ve just walked into a strange place and I’m someone new.

On the day of your newborn session, your toddler may want nothing to do with the baby or they may decide they want to be the only one to hold the baby. They may not listen and want to explore the studio, or they may cooperate the entire time. The truth is, you just never know, and no matter how it goes, I promise I am prepared. I’ve photographed hundreds of newborns with lots of experience with toddler siblings as well.

I’m so thankful you are checking out my work here at my website. A little more about my studio… I have a full studio wardrobe, with of over 60 dresses and robes for moms (size 2 – 24) from a variety of places, along with a collection of choices for babies, children, and shirts for men. Hair and makeup is also available by a local make-up artist that comes right to the studio. It’s the most amazing way for moms to treat themselves before a session to make your session as simple and stress free as possible.
