The first October session this year! We didn’t have changing colors of leaves yet, but we had a gorgeous sun filled evening. I know everyone loves the Fall season, especially for family fall sessions…. however something to keep in mind when choosing to do a Fall session is the weather is unpredictable.  It’s changing quickly from day to day – we often have rainy days, and we often have windy days. So the Fall season can be tricky – especially with reschedules because we are limited on time as we head into Winter. That is why I enjoy filling my Fall session calendar mostly in September, trying to keep some of October available for reschedules. It’s also why I love Spring sessions so much – because we can keep rescheduling to land on a beautiful sun filled evening – a luxury I unfortunately am unable to accommodate in the Fall season.

It is always a pleasure to work with this sweet family. I first met them in 2018 for their oldest daughter, Sylvie’s newborn session. I adore watching families grow – and thoroughly enjoy them coming back to let me continue to tell their story each year. This year we had a windy, sun filled October evening. The girls just wanted run and play the entire time – we had lots of fun, capturing so many giggles and authentic moments.

I’m so thankful you are checking out my work here at my website. A little more about my studio… I have a full studio wardrobe, with of over 60 dresses and robes for moms (size 2 – 24) from a variety of places, along with a collection of choices for babies, children, and shirts for men. Hair and makeup is also available by a local make-up artist that comes right to the studio. It’s the most amazing way for moms to treat themselves before a session to make your session as simple and stress free as possible.
