It was such a joy to celebrate Nolan turning one. It’s always fun putting a cake in front a little one to see what they do. Not every baby is the smashing kind. Sweet Nolan had a few giggles while licking up a few fist fulls of icing, but then he quickly told us he was all done. Sometimes that’s what cake smashes go.
I always end a session with the cake smash portion because there is a bit of sticky mess to take care. I love knowing we get captures that highlight a little’s personality, and new founded capabilities like stacking blocks or even walking! One year sessions are also a great time to update your family captures. Siblings are always welcome to any Signature Session. I can really envision an adorable album with all the beautiful images we got during this session – a way for the kiddos to flip through a piece of their story.
